No better place to be a kid of any age.

Leo in LA

Leo had an awesome time in Los Angeles, despite harrowing traffic across 6 lanes. This is Legoland. They wouldn't let Leo in the Mindstorms Robot section because he was too young but he got to build some Hero Factory robots:

Leo and his lego family:

Leo driving the boat. There were a lot of these ride-it-yourself kiddie rides. Very tame rides though.

Leo in the lego shark

I made Leo bicycle me around the track in the bike race:

And we hit La Brea tar pits and saw the saber toothed "cat":

Oh, and Disneyland was great. Much better rides than Legoland:

The Giant Robotic Arm at Legoland

I think this is called the Knight's Tournament or something like that. It's a really cool ride. Leo and Paul rode on setting number 1 which is the only setting they will let kids ride - the 'gentle' setting. Leo was disappointed as he wanted setting number 2. I waited til they were done and rode setting number 5, 'extreme terror' or something like that. It was the best ride there. Kissing

Leo's teacher reported that she saw Leo and Lexi kissing on the lips and that this behavior is not allowed at school. Paul asked Leo about that and Leo replied,
"Yeah, but Lexi made me do it"

Present

When Paul left for his camping trip, he asked Leo to do something nice for me. So Leo went to class and in Choice time, he made me a card. It was a beautiful card. Inside, it said "Cen yoy giv me a prezet" - can you give me a present.

Anger

A month ago at school, the kids read When Sophie Gets Angry. They then wrote about something that made them angry. This was Leo's project:

Leo is saying "ouch". "I was angry when the cookie sheet burnt me."

The kids then had to explain what they did to make themselves feel better: "I put my hand in water."

Poem about tadpoles

The kids had to write a poem to recite on Thursday. Leo's poem is about the tadpole that Vicki sent him:

Tadpole
By Leo N.

Tadpoles live in water
Wiggle, wiggle
Clear body
They turn into frogs
Jump, jump

More art - "I like grapes. Grapes are good. They are juicy."
